Petkus Brothers started the business in 1981 by Kevin & Dan Petkus; we ran our first office out of a 10 x 12 spare bedroom from our home. The original employees were Kevin & Dan Petkus, and our Mom. Today our business is still family run by Kevin and Dan along with our brother Keith Petkus. We also have a highly trained staff, many of whom have been with us for over 20 years. We have since grown to be the largest patio cover, sun room and remodeling company in Northern California based on a simple philosophy of honesty; we educate customers about the products, give them quality options and back it up with skilled tradesmen to get the job done in a timely manner.
Over the years Petkus Brothers has installed all the major products, Alumawood, Equinox, Four Seasons and Duralum. As a result, we have designed our own brand, Durawood. Taking all the best ideas and incorporating these best practices into one product we call Durawood for aluminum patio covers and Comfortshield for sun-rooms. Our efficiency, experience and buying power allow us to offer the best value and best price, every day and our number one goal is to always have happy, satisfied customers.
