Daily Maintenance
- Circulate water and help keep the spa clean by running the spa pump and filter at
least 8 hours per day to.
- Maintain proper range of sanitizer levels. Chlorine levels should fall between 3‑5
mg/l (ppm). Bromine levels should fall between 3‑6 ppm.
- Test the hot tub's PH levels and adjust so they fall between 7.2 and 7.6.
- Used an Anti Foam if there is an abundance of foaming.
Weekly Maintenance
- Shock your hot tub or spa with suitable oxidising agent such as Non chlorine shock
or Calcium Hypochlorite to remove organic compounds and keep water clean and clear.
- Clean the hot tub filter and swap with spare. (you should always have a spare filter
as filters have to be allowed to dry first so that the fibers can bind together
after cleaning).
Periodic Maintenance
- Drain and refill spa every 60 ‑ 90 days for moderately used spas. 30 ‑
60 days for highly used spas.
- While spa is drained, clean spa surfaces thoroughly. Always rinse well before refilling.
- Clean the spa or hot tub cover with a weak solution of chlorine (3‑5mg/litre)
- Replace hot tub filters (6 months ‑ 1 year)
